Only managers favorites receive any recognition. Lousy work/life balance. Lousy working conditions. Arrogant managers who don't respond to staff concerns. Terrible communication. There is a widening disconnect between head office and the stores.

I usually shop at your competitor however your store is very close to my home. I simply wanted to get a few bags of wood pellets to try at your store. When I could not find any I asked a fella named John if he could help me.

Discuss the issues you have had with Home Depot and work with their customer service team to find a resolution. Organization of hours, shifts, personnel, products and pricing is horrible. A lot has to do with the central management system, head office controls almost everything with no direct connection to the ground level. Many of the managers have no leadership skills and lack good communication skills. This company believes very much in diversity and inclusion and taking care of its customers. The stores are everything and they are the cornerstone of the business.

Products are being discontinued even though our customers need them. One example; we currently sell a staple gun but don't sell the staples required for that gun. Store management is aware but can't do anything about it. This is one of numerous examples in my department alone. No respect from managers to staff. Inadequate training.
